About

csg3I am a graduate of the Haden Institute Dream Leader Training Program and have completed the Foundational and Core Competencies Courses in Life Coach Training from the Institute for Life Coaching Training. Accompanying others on the journey to find balance and healing in their lives through the use of tools for spiritual transformation and communication is my passion.

In addition to working with people in spiritual development, I am a communications professional with a Master of Communication from the Knight School of Communication at Queen’s University in Charlotte, NC. Currently I serve as Canon of Communications in the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland. Bringing back the use of spiritual practice and tools for transformation into the Church through communication with the Divine within is my calling. This important inner work is best done on an individual basis and in small groups in the Church community. Think, Jesus and the twelve Disciples…

Previously I served as Canon for Communications in the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina. I am a lifelong reader and learner and was a professional bookseller for 19 years, co-owning an independent trade bookstore with my husband and serving as director of a cathedral bookstore, where I was able to share my passion for spiritual reading, writing and inner work. A graduate of the Education for Ministry (EfM) program through the Sewanee School of Theology I served as a mentor in the program for four years.

I enjoy preaching and giving workshops and presentations on dreamwork, theological reflection and more. In 2012, I gave the opening keynote (Dreams, God, and Me: How 9 Years at the Summer Dream Conference Has Changed My Life) at the international Kanuga Summer Dream & Spirituality Conference sponsored by the Haden Institute. (See it in Dreams, God and Me published in The Rose magazine). I also enjoy creative writing. Below are links to some pieces I have written for other blogs and publications:
